2003 Toyota Tundra Blower Motor Resistor Location

How to Replace the Blower Resistor on a 2003 Toyota Tundra

Step 1: Locate the Blower Motor Resistor

The blower motor resistor is typically located under the passenger side dashboard near the blower motor. It is usually a small, black or gray box with several wires connected to it.

Step 2: Access the Blower Motor Resistor

To access the blower motor resistor, you will need to remove the glove box. To do this, open the glove box and squeeze the sides together. Once the sides are released, the glove box will drop down.

Step 3: Disconnect the Wires from the Blower Motor Resistor

Once the glove box is removed, you will be able to see the blower motor resistor. Disconnect the wires from the resistor by squeezing the plastic connectors and pulling them straight off.

Step 4: Remove the Blower Motor Resistor

Once the wires are disconnected, you can remove the blower motor resistor. To do this, use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the resistor in place. Once the screws are removed, the resistor will come out easily.

Step 5: Install the New Blower Motor Resistor

To install the new blower motor resistor, simply reverse the steps above. First, insert the new resistor into the bracket and secure it with the screws. Then, connect the wires to the resistor by squeezing the plastic connectors and pushing them on until they click into place. Finally, reattach the glove box.
